As for Holland deserving it from the chances... I wouldn't exactly agree with that. When they were actually playing rather than behaving like idiots, they created a lot of small chances that were badly executed. Portugal created more "real" chances, in my opinion.

Boulahrouz should have been sent off almost right away, for seriously injuring Ronaldo with an idiotic attack.
Figo should have been sent off for faking injury and giving a headbutt.
Robben should have been bitchslapped for falling down whenever a Portugese player came near him.
The ref should have been sent off the field for sending Deco off the field.

That's what I'm afraid of. After the Portuguese seriously weakened themselves by some stupid red cards (or were weakened by the Dutch in case of Ronaldo) the weakest remaining team might go all the way to the semi finals. That would be the real disgrace. England against Ecuador was the most boring game I have seen in many years.
