I'll leave it at that. But lets be realistic here. All join came on the same day and rebilled the same length... fishy.

The bottom line is, some sites retain, and some do not. I've had sites I thought would "retain" that do not.. I've also had sites I never thought would rebill that do.

revshare works wonders for me - when there are slow sale times (xmas, spring, etc), the rebills make up for under-quota sales..

like it's been mentioned in the thread, it's a short term vs. long term thing

anyone with minimal business sense and money managing skills only cares about earning more $ per member that they send a sponsor.

hmmm, i forget took that screencap about a month ago to make a 120x60 banner, but that is when they last rebilled. might have been a hun listing?? fuck i don't know lol i am tired as shit, but no scam believe it or not.

I used to submit galleries for a long time and didn't care about $$$/member, because when I was sending to PPS programs I was making 2-3 sales a day, when to quality revshare programs, 10-15 sales a day.

I just checked our statsremote quick stats. Guess who's at the bottom of the list and who's on the top when I click $$$/Sale row. Almost exclusively revshare at the bottom.
The only way revshare will make you more money with trial length/trial price/recur price being equal is if the pps shave some of your signups away.
If the content is exclusive (or otherwise a unique product) for the revshare sponsor comparisons are useless. So I conclude, only use revshare if there is no pps alternative.

I'll post our $ value per signup for any revshare sponsor on request.

PPS gives you money NOW that you can reinvest, revshare will see you trhough the summer ;)

I think it's a myth that over time revshare is equal to pps.
I've never seen stats to prove it, and looking at our stats I only see one sponsor over $30 that's not pill or dating related.
Lightspeedcash $30,16 but if I'm not mistaken they have no trials or expensive trials?

Some revshares do well in terms of vaule per member but that is without trials, and for most people they are going to get a lot more signups with sites that have trials

You miss the most important point, its not 100 sales at PPS versus 100 sales at revshare. Some PPS programs can make you 10 sales on one spot, some 30, some revshare program 20, some 50...You have to compare overall $$$. $$$/member is worthless, because you are not sending sales to programs, but traffic.

I totally agree with you boss, but most webmasters are going to make more with with pps trials sites then most revshare sites. From what i gather you sites do great without trials

thats true, trials are always easier to convert...it takes more knowledge to convert the full price

Yes, you have to examine the value of every hit sent out.
That I cannot easily see in statsremote - I'll have to go into our own tracking system since most pps sponsors cheat with their ratio (uniques).
But I'm quite certain revshare still can't beat pps.
And here's how. Our system calculates the value of each paysites outgoing clicks, and the higher the value the more clicks are sent out. No niche has a revshare sponsor as #1 where there is pps competition.

Totally meaningless stats, no matter what you are trying to prove. It is utterly irrelevant which payout method you use unless you pick the one which matches each sponsor.

The reason it's easy to argue that PPS is better is that most sites are rubbish and revshare is a waste of time on sites which make no attempt to retain their members. So be lazy, don't check out the sites you promote, do only PPS and you won't be wrong too many times. But you are leaving money on the table with every site which does retain: occasionally a lot of money.

as far as galleries i couldnt agree with you any more. but we're talking if we were to send the sales to the same sponsor and picking either pps or revshare.
