By normal I would assume you mean original Russian made AK 47. The hand guard is the only a minor cosmetic difference between Romanian and Russian made AK 47. As far as the quality goes only SLR 95 which is the Bulgarian variation of AK 47 is milled from forged bar stock, the rest including Russian is a stamp metal. I believe Romanian has the chrome lined barrel, if not then sell and get one with the chrome lined barrel. My 2 cents.

and a few other assorted rifles, shotguns, AKs, hide-away .357s, .44s and some Glocks. Well that plus enough ammo, mags, MREs and tactical gear to fight quite a little conflict.
