I don't believe your story.

I don't take the chance anymore. When I am looking for domains I have my credit card beside me to scoop that baby up immediately.

These fucks at some of the registrars are snooping the search logs and then grabbing good ones. |
KRL, I've tested some, for a few days back early in the month and found no evidence that the names were getting registered ( and should have ). All made up, and a few with overture for the words.

that often seems to happen on decent domains. if you've a domain in mind, buy it quick or expect it to go |

Let me add, trust no one when it comes to domains. Actually, in business advance information is the holy grail of competitive advantages. There is too much money in domain speculation to trust anyone. I don't care how "honest" you think a person is, if you tip them to a good domain it will be gone. It's pretty much all very shady. Protect your neck. |
It can't be stolen if you never owned it in the first place ... not to be a dick man, but if you find a good domain, register it right away.
|
you can get the daily whois.sc whois request list easially, so if you lookup something and don't register it the chance is big that someone will register it if its a good domain
|
can we search for bulk of shitty domains? :1orglaugh
|
Young,
I would use my own whois script based on http://www.internic.net/whois.html. That has to be the closest thing to neutral available. |
