Luckly, living in Canada, we don't have to adjust anything on the car. As long as you can prove its 15 years to the month of manufacture or older, you can import it without restrictions, which is why in the last few years, there's been a massive surge of cars being imported from Japan. All the desireable ones that were never sold in north america (and some that where, only crapped down for north american buyers). S13 Silvias, 2nd gen rx7's, gtr's, gts-t's, gts4's, you name it, they're being imported here.
Edit: Tons of european cars as well. Lancia's, BMW's, Lotus's, pretty much anything, even a Ladda or two :1orglaugh
