why do you need the best? i got one last year and the price range was insane. i saw them for as much as $800 but i went with the g-force fx 5500 which i think was around 80 bucks after a $50 mail in rebate and it has been flawless. included some cool software and was setup and running in less than 10 minutes.

Ya, you shouldn't have to spend to much. I've had good luck NVIDIA cards. Very easy to set up. Just plug it in and go.
