Free Trial - We'll pay for your bandwidth

I worked on this damn post for 4 hours trying not to make it sound to damn spammy and I couldn?t pull it off. Fuck me. Here it is.

We have a new service that does some pretty incredible shit.

If you use a ton of bandwidth serving movies, images, and other web shit.. then you?re going to want to take a look at this.

It?s really simple.. for $175 per Mbit (unitil March 9th), we can Cache all of your movies and images on our network. We spent a lot of money and time building this network, and it?s connected to one of the fastest Internet Service Provider in the Industry, Qwest Communications.

So.. here is the good part.

1: You don?t have to change hosting providers. Keep your servers where they are.

2: You don?t have to buy any software or hardware to use the service (<cough> unlike Akamai).

3: It really IS fast as hell.

4: By turning on the service, you can immediately reduce bandwidth costs!

Hell, we have a customer that was getting pissed that their exit consoles took longer to pop than it did for the surfer to hit ALT F4, so they cached all of their exit consoles with us. They pop so damn fast, the visitors head spins! 50% improvement in impression rates!

So, if you want more details.. go here. http://www.xfr.com

We can reduce your bandwidth bills immediately and deliver your content faster and more effectively than any other hosting provider because that?s all we do.

FREE TRIAL ? Check it out for yourself, click this link, fill out a small form, and we will set you up for a free test drive! We?ll pay for your bandwidth during the free trial. This offer is only being made on the GFY webmasters, and will not be made to any other forum.

Click this link to get setup now.

It sounds interesting...

We talked to some people about a similar solution some time ago, but the cost was really high. That was around the time of dot com mania, so all those people were crazy to start with.

How does your system work with semi-dynamic content? How often does it synch the content with the "master" server? For example, if my content updates every hour, is that something you can handle, or would your system be on a constant lag?

Also, what happens to our PHP/ASP pages when they are hosted on your server and they need to reach back to our SQL server to insert data into the database for specific events (users submitting forms, for example)?

I could go into a longer explanation if you would like, here is the abridged version.

Most of the time, the customer isn?t looking for a solution that caches every last piece of data on their public network. Usually, the goal of the customer is three fold. 1) reduce server load 2) reduce network congestion 3) do 1 & 2 without throwing hardware or more bandwidth at the problem (money). They want to do these three things to enhance user experience providing for longer Web site visits, which can translate into greater advertising and e-commerce revenue, however, those goals usually leave the customer with limited choices.

I address all three of those points with LastCache. When I do, I find the customer is more than satisfied with the service. When we add in a price point where the cost of our caching service is equal to or lower than traditional bandwidth, customers start wondering why Akamai charges so much.

XFR?s LastCache does not cache everything, neither does any other caching solution. We get the big stuff that degrades user experience, sucks bandwidth, and kills servers.

To answer your question, with a little work, we can integrate and cache from most types of dynamically generated pages regardless of how they are compiled (php, asp, etc).

Cache update / refresh data for HTML is placed in html headers and read by the cache servers on initial connection / download. Much like DNS?s updating and propagation. For rich file types, we set updates based on customer preference.

Can I set you up with a trial offering.. I think you will be more than satisfied.
