That being said, most attorneys in our industry recommend that international webmasters comply with 2257 provisions for two reasons: first, it shows you fight child porn and second, if you are targeting the US consumers you should comply with this provision.

Privacy is also a right recognized in the US Constitution, though the recognition is not quite as clear as the free speech right.
Where in the Constitution is privacy a recognized right? Don't get me wrong, I truly believe that Americans have a right to privacy, but I have never seen the word privacy in the US Constitution. There are Supreme Court rulings that acknowledge privacy (Roe v. Wade for example) but, as I understand it, privacy is not explicit in the US Constitution itself.
