If you stop being a fan of a team because your favorite player leaves...is that lame?
My favorite team has been the Pacers since I was a kid...
But the main reason was because of Reggie Miller. As I look at their team now...Artest, O' Neil, Jackson ......Ugggghhh....Not very likeable guys I wish Reggie Miller, Rick Smits, The Davis Brothers, Mark Jackson, Haywoode Workman, Derrick McKey could just play on a team forever  |

Its usually the first team you ever saw that u tend to follow...........players come and go a lot...but the team will always give u fond memories.

The only reason I like the Kings is because they're the local team and I've grown up with them for the last 20 years. I could give a shit about the team or how it's run. They've been trading away all their players for years. I follow the players around and cheer for them, but fuck the team. I'm more into the sport than anything. (I'm talking hockey here btw, not the crybaby Suckramento Kings bball team)

I have been die-hard pacers. Have gone to various playoff games at market square arena (so yes, its been a few years now) ....But I just really dont think i'll feel any attachment to this new group without reggie being there...
The Sonics i'll always root for nomatter who is playing for them. I really hope they bring Ray back...he's kinda a reggie-like exciting shooter. Probably better overall player...but nobody beats reggie's clutch shooting |
