i can't belive this happend... its so crazy... its totally unreal and there's no way to describe how messed up i am right now...

i had tickets to the show in flint michigan too... i don't know whats going to happen... theres some blood on my ticket stub so i'm going to sell it on ebay or keep it or something... i know DBD is in heaven (or ripping some mad riffs in hell)

This news about DamagePlan is scary. I'm sure parents are up in arms and terrified. I'll never get over that disaster at the White Snake concert a few years back. Absolutely horrifying.

In this case it sounds like the band either pissed someone off that bad or some nut case got into the arena with a firearm. Security is the issue here and it failed unless the gunman was part of security.

Few weeks ago Dr. Dre had a scuffle with a dude backstage and someone got stabbed.

It's a shame that these incidents happen and I know I'll hear all the crying tomorrow when the gang meets at the post office and starbucks.

The kids deserve better than this.

well that sucks, I met Darrell back in the early 80's when Pantera played at my brother's club, long before they had videos on MTV. Back then he was called Diamond Darrell.

in my band days, we were supposed to play with Pantera ona doublebill 9this is before Phil joined the band and they were a glam band). It never happened because they cancelled due to some in-band issues...but he was cool as hell and an amazing fucking guitarist...

he not only played fast, he played WELL

when a musician dies from an overdose or in a drinking/driving accident, it's sad, but not as tragic as something like this...
the only positive...he went out doing what he loved...
