I heard this as well. Kind of disturbing.

I think Rick should give whoever has the most posts currently the $10,000 prize and then the thread can die if that's the point behind the bannings.

If the point of the bannings is to save $10,000 then that's just very unethical and shitty, might even be fraudulant as this is a public board and contests are lega, the contest was allowed to go on for this long to begin with. :2 cents:

I also just had the thought that if this thread truly wanted to be stopped then the thread could be closed - but seeing as it has been left going on this long it would definitey be suspicious.. ?

Lensman has done the banning and all those who got banned used bots. Furthermore, I won't be paying 10,000 dollars until the contest has gone the full length.

Ah. How did you prove that? Just curious. I can imagine it being a possibility, though I'd like to see the trends on posting. If someone "didn't sleep" then it'd certainly be suspect, otherwise if there are gaps inbetween posting - I *can* see someone posting as much as they possibly could in order to get $10,000 USD. That is a good chunk of money.
