WTF is up with all the idiots raggin on him for driving trashed and not taking a cab... He would have been totally legal if he were 21 and not 19, so it's not like he was actually putting anyone's life in danger since he wasn't even really drunk. I see your point, but you're obviously not listening to mine. I've had plenty of friends drive drunk and die, so don't even sit here and tell me I don't care about drunk drivers. I've gotten in more fights with my boy over him driving drunk than you can even imagine.

But what you're not paying attention to is that the kid blew a .075, and the legal limit for someone 21+ is .08. So, he wasn't even fucking drunk or posing a threat to anyone, he just got screwed over for being a minor!! I'm sure anyone who drinks knows you can throw back one damn beer and still be functional enough to drive a fucking car 5 blocks. So next time you want to get all MADD on someone, maybe you should pay fucking attention to the details.

also, i wasn't even in my car. it was stopped in a red zone in front of the atm because i was in a hurry to get some cash. the police officer stopped beside me as i was walking towards the atm. i have parked in that red zone multiple times like everyone else does, so i thought nothing of this sort would happen....whatever, im over it. if you talked to anyone i knew, they would all say the same thing. that i am a responsible drinker, i and my friends were totally confident that i could drive safely.

I knew a guy who "didn't drink" but once a year because he had an alcohol problem.... ONCE a year he would let loose and drink it up - so he had designated drivers and all that stuff, but he was so drunk that when he go dropped off at his house he snuck right into his own car and drove off to see some chick.

he got on the highway and must have dozed off or something because he plowed into the back of a tractor trailor on the shoulder at about 105 mph.

Needless to say: it was a closed-casket funeral.

On top of it, he hadn't had anything to drink for hours, but because of the way a breathalizer works you blow higher numbers when your body is digesting alcohol then when you're actually drunk (although I don't totally understand this, I have a friend who works at the police station here who told me this).
