I see your point, but you're obviously not listening to mine. I've had plenty of friends drive drunk and die, so don't even sit here and tell me I don't care about drunk drivers. I've gotten in more fights with my boy over him driving drunk than you can even imagine.

But what you're not paying attention to is that the kid blew a .075, and the legal limit for someone 21+ is .08. So, he wasn't even fucking drunk or posing a threat to anyone, he just got screwed over for being a minor!! I'm sure anyone who drinks knows you can throw back one damn beer and still be functional enough to drive a fucking car 5 blocks. So next time you want to get all MADD on someone, maybe you should pay fucking attention to the details.

also, i wasn't even in my car. it was stopped in a red zone in front of the atm because i was in a hurry to get some cash. the police officer stopped beside me as i was walking towards the atm. i have parked in that red zone multiple times like everyone else does, so i thought nothing of this sort would happen....whatever, im over it. if you talked to anyone i knew, they would all say the same thing. that i am a responsible drinker, i and my friends were totally confident that i could drive safely.

ONCE a year he would let loose and drink it up - so he had designated drivers and all that stuff, but he was so drunk that when he go dropped off at his house he snuck right into his own car and drove off to see some chick.

he got on the highway and must have dozed off or something because he plowed into the back of a tractor trailor on the shoulder at about 105 mph.

Alright, kids. Listen close. Driving drunk is very stupid, it kills people and I've put my fair share of friends into the ground over this exact same thing. It's because of the way your body has more alcohol in its system as its digesting it. So in the possibly unique case of my dear friend Mike, he blew numbers because he had been drinking earlier in the night, but when he got in his car, his mental state was that of someone who was totally sober. If you know the way our friends are, you'd know that we'd never let Mike or anyone for that matter get in a car if they were anything less than sober. So for all of you who say that drunk drivers should rot in jail for endangering lives, I totally agree with you. But I'm telling you today, that Mike was not drunk, he just got screwed by the system. I would be first in line to rag on him for being stupid if it had been any other way.
