It's time to work on your golf swing now that spring is here & summer is clos

I got some friends who play around the pro level and i want to shock them a little when they see me play this year.

So, what are the best ways to improve your swing quickly? Does any of the crap they show on Golf TV actually work?

Even if i can knock maybe 10 strokes off my game i'd be happy. BTW, 10 strokes isnt unreasonable considering the numbers i'm doing

Take some lessons from the golf pro's at different courses. Worked for me - I polished my clubs yesterday for some rounds next month while we're on the road.

I might have to give that a shot.. so far i've been spending my time mostly on the driving range...which is a little different than being on the grass...

If you're ever playing around the Toronto Area hit me up and i'd play 18 with ya

Fastest way to improve your SCORE is to improve your short game.

Pitch, chip and putt for an hour or two every day for about two weeks and your score should go down fast. Start with good technique, and then develop some feel.

Half of your strokes, (or more) are from 100 yards and in. Work on that for 60% of your practice time. Most guys hit the range for an hour and putt for 3 minutes before a round.

Takes much longer to fix a swing.

Sounds like a plan, although finding a course which would allow such a thing could be tricky!

Take a lesson and practice a lot . You can't learn it fast . I'm not really good at golf and don't enjoy it much . I go 2-3 time a year not really more then that

This sounds like sound advice! I'll give it a shot! How about all those gadgets they show on TV, any truth to them?
