Religion was used to explain things that were not understood before reasoning and logical thought were adopted. The ancient Greeks, Romans, and the Egyptians all had multiple gods and they were around way before Christ, so maybe we should be looking to Zeus for guidance.

I would like somone to post irrefutable proof of a almighty being that is in control of everything. Somehow I don't think that will happen.

My religious neighbor was in jail for 3 months for a 6 month term for credit card fraud and fraud relating to a Real Estate Broker business.

Here's what she does besides the above.

1. screams and yells loud outside in front of my girls that I am a whore and a slut

2. trys to poison my horses with hay with mold on it

3. feed my horse for 4 years without my persmission

4. let her dog kill my chickens on my property and chase my horses

5. says shit like the Fbi is watching me etc etc.. ( SHe does not know what I do )

6. Says shit to the other neighbors about me

Well said. I do like one of the ideas Martin Luder/Luther(1483) had.. that it's possible for the individual to have a direct link with god without going through the church. Weird how there ended up being a lutheren church( dont know much about it)

Churches would be better if they were just community groups of people getting together to try and make things better on a local level without bringing god and religious bullshit doctrines into it.
