You post that there were several top Al Qaeda operatives working inside Iraq before the U.S. invasion.

When asked for proof of such..you say "find them yourself!"

Well, I've got 56 witnesses that saw you logging in as Pathfinder when he was "alive"!

This thread is priceless, a bunch of hypocrites who have yet to have a valid point between, trying to talk down to me. Ok guys, hope that makes you a little more comfortable with yourself. I have yet to hear ONE FUCKING ANSWER to the question posed over and over again by many a poster...

NAME ONE SPECIFIC THING BUSH HAS DONE WELL!

Simple, there isn't one. We all know you're going to post some shit about Iraq and how you feel safer, but the simple fact is that BUSH IS A HUGE FAILURE AT EVERYTHING.

You guys act like you want to debate, but all you ever do is regurgitate pundit newspeak thinking you're putting up real arguments, it's hilarious.

Alex, theking, netrodent, I honestly feel sorry for you guys, hopefully one day you'll wake up and realize how brainwashed you are. The longer you lie to yourself the harder it's going to be to wake up. Seriously, before going to the Rush archive for a comeback, sit down and think about things for ten fucking seconds. Try to let common sense prevail over your biases.

Here is the fact: The world is a safer place without Hussein.

If you believe he wasn't a threat to his own people or the middle east, then your head is in the sand.

I know you just typed this part because my post made you realize how ridiculous you are and you had to say something, but I'll respond anyway. I have no problem with people with "different opinions" than me, that's the saddest cop out I've seen in a while. Everyone who still supports George Bush is brainwashed. Support Ralph Nader or Alan Keys (or Paul Martin ;-) ) for all I fucking care, but when you buy into the Karl Rove Ingsoc propaganda as badly as you do, sorry but you are brainwashed.

Obviously I don't think Hussein was a good guy, of course he was a threat to his neighbors. However the fact the you Americans were actually going to sleep afraid that Saddam was going to bomb you in the morning is laughable to the rest of the world. Honestly, how many times does it have to be proven that what you're watching on TV is bullshit, for you to realize it?

Unfortunately, the only thing Bush has done with the war is make Iraq and the entire middle east much more unstable. He's using troops and resources that should be used to dismantle Al Quida. The terrorist networks are recruiting more and more people by the day, and it's only going to get worse as the trouble in Iraq makes more nutcases think they can win. That's the real threat, those are the guys plotting attacks against you, and Bush is sitting by AGAIN and letting them do it. WHY? Try explaining that to anyone who doesn't watch CNN, it's impossible.

If you elect Bush again you're signing up for never ending war because that's what neo cons want. They don't want to keep you safe, because that means they can't attack. It's all in their gameplan, if you haven't read it please do.

Wow, you're slower than I figured. I was making fun of your comment about the war being positive because "the middle east is a safer place without him". Who was he a threat to? Iran.

Come on man, this isn't very fun if you can't even understand clear as day insults. Let me guess, Jason's the brains of the operation?

So, for the 12th time, you agree with Bush being useless? I know you'll say "of coarse not he's a super hero", but please allow me to remind you, we're still waiting for an answer to the very simple question. Do I have to repeat it again? Oh, so ok to have different opinions, as long as you have the right different opinions? How nice of you. All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others, eh?

If you can accept that "brainwashing" is possible you must accept the fact that it is possible that you are the one that is brainwashed. After all, if you were brainwashed how could you tell? It practically goes without saying that you'd be brainwashed to think that other people are really the ones who are brainwashed. Creates a bit of a logical problem doesn't it?

Personally I find anyone who mentions brainwashing as frequently as a born-again-Christian mentions Jesus rather pathetic. It seems to illustrate a fundamental inability to accept dissent, which is a very sad and dangerous thing.

I highly doubt that much sleep was lost by Americans fearing Saddam was going to attack them directly. However after ten years of sanctions, inspections, game-playing, run-arounds, rhetoric, etc. Iraq had become a pariah. This contributed to the instability in the Middle East.

Unfortunately, a significant portion of the energy needs of the US
come from the Middle East. Instability could threaten that supply of engery, which in turn would ripple out to affect the economy and jobs.

That threat of instablity, particularly since the first gulf war, has kept a sizable US military presence in the region. The removal of that military presence (particularly from Saudi Arabia) is one of Osama bin Laden's stated goals. Hence Iraq's connection to terrorism.

OK, guys with machine guns are holding up in a Mosque. Killing US troops.

We should not shoot at them because they are in a Mosque?

Yeah that's exactly the way you guys were talking a year ago, and that's exactly the way it was (and still is) sold to the American public. :helpme

No one cared about the "red flag in the form of a mushroom cloud" statement, everyone was talking about stability in the area. Do you ever listen to yourself? You'll never accept that you were completely and totally fooled, but it's not complicated to the rest of the world.

Want to know how I can tell it's you that's brainwashed and not me?

Iraq wasn't a threat, Bush told you he was.
Saudi Arabia is a threat, Bush never mentions them.
Saudi's attack America.
Bush MOVES US TROOPS OUT OF SAUDIA ARAIBA.
The terrorist camps we should be worried about are left alone.
You're fucking fearless leader is doing business with the people who attacked you and has for years.
He flies the Bin Ladens out of the country days after 9/11 when no one else could fly.
He told everyone Saddam was related to terrorists and 9/11 and was going to sell them nukes, and invaded them.
It's a year later, all the facts are out in the open, and you're still sitting here looking around for ANY possible reason that you could have been right by supporting Bush.

What simple minded people don't understand is that there isn't two sides to every issue. I know you've been taught to think of politics as a ball game, well wake the fuck up, it's not. You're wrong about this, and if you'd try to use common sense you'd get it. There's a wrong path for the world to be on, and this is it.

Bush is wrong about nearly everything.
He's been in power for 4 years and has ruined your economy, made the world hate you, made you more vulnerable to terrorists, you or any other sheep can't name a single God damn thing he's done right, yet you're sitting there BITCHING ABOUT A FUCKING STUPID CANCER METAPHOR.

You're not a very complicated person, any guy who shoots porn one day and then votes Aschroft in the next clearly doesn't have the equipment required for independent thought. Nothing personal, I hope that works out for you.

Unfortunately, you don't know you what you're supporting, and what you "believe in" is leading the entire world down a terrible path. Read the neocon report and tell me if you agree with their warpath. Anyone trying to debate a war who can't take the time to read 90 pages their government wrote about taking over the world is a waste of my time. So, basically, that covers everyone on this board who supports Bush.

I cannot remember the names of the other one or two that were linked to Iraq...as I do not necessarily committ to memory...everything that is input into my mind. Maybe someone else can remember.

But here is a name of a major terrorist that...as far as I know is not an al qaeda member...that was succored by Saddam and in fact he died in Iraq...in August of 2002.

Abu Nidal..."whose group has been blamed for attacks in more than 20 countries that have killed hundreds."

I am not here to educate the uncomprehending...from here on out if you care to be educated do the work yourself.

Yes, anyone who agrees with the old nutcase pretending to be his son and the handlebar mustache pretending to be a bigshot has a high IQ. Everyone else is a moron. :1orglaugh

I wonder what it's like to be a grown up who so easily believe childish lies, like invading Iraq is somehow protecting Americans. Must be nice some days to not have that pesky common sense that prevents the rest of us from becoming sheep.

what must be even nicer is to struggle all day at a meaningless dayjob and then get online at night and explain how the successful people in this business aren't as smart as you.:1orglaugh

That's what soldiers are for.. to die.. so all you fuckers that sit at your computers all day on your fat asses don't have to live in fear.. of terrorist attacks and high gas prices. (never mind the trillions of debt)

They are not an invincible army, there will be casulties, it's about sacrificing their lives for yours and the country's goals. (the govt tells us of the threats on our lives)
