Anyone still use Netscape Communicator for e-mail?

I'm trying to setup a mail account and the username is "[email protected]" instead of just "user". Netscape doesn't like this and replaces @domain.com with the pop3 server name.

So when it goes to check the mail, it checks [email protected] instead of [email protected]@pop3.server.com.

It works fine with Outlook Express but I really don't want to use Outlook Express.

Try using the % instead of the @ and see if that works. In other words, user%domain.com

You might as well download the new Netscape or Mozilla. I like the tab based browsing and both have built in email and you can have multiple accounts.

I have never been an Outllook fan. Used Mozilla for years then switched to Netscape. Been happy with it ever since.
