you are right that i don't think the bible mentions the actual word pornography. Do you remember the story about Soddom and Gomora? i think it mentions something about an entire city being destroyed because of the sinful acts taking place there...hint, hint. funny how you mention that people translate the bible as it best suits them which is exactly what you are doing by just deciding that the ENTIRE old testament is fictional. lol.

That was what I was taught by priests, I just didnt make this up on my own. Most of the stories in the old testament are not based in reality, they are morality lessons. There was Adam and Eve then they had two sons, one son killed the other son. So thats 3 people,so where did all the other people come from? The great flood and Noah there is no historical record of this and if it was true then we are all sons and daughters of Noah's family, this means the people on the boat repopulated the planet. I dont think so.

how bout i just agree to disagree with you. i'm not Catholic, I'm Baptist. Our views are very different. I believe that the Old Testament is an accurate representation and entirely factual. And because of that I believe in the 10 Commandments as written by Moses from words spoken to him by God. So from my standpoint, you have alot more things to do than just love one another.

well what you didn't catch was that Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law...he did not say that the old testament or the 10 commandements were out the window...but that it could be summed up with 1 commandment.

If you treat others as you should or would treat yourself you wll honor your parents..you wont' murder..you won't commit adultrey etc..etc.

I was raised in a very religious household and as a child and teenager I spent a great deal of time in church. As an adult I've found that everything is not quite what it seems and I can't believe everything I'm told. Right or wrong, I have my own relationship with God which I'm very comfortable with.

I saw the movie a couple of hours ago and it was really weird to turn around to walk out after it was finished and see people stunned and stuck in their seats some crying and others visibly shaken. Powerful stuff!
