Umm, ok. What's wrong with using pics, doube opt-in lists and exits to sell sponsors?
What do you think sells better:
1. A quality free site targeting "Hustler Brand" keywords (for SE traffic) with about 10-30 free softcore censored images. Site has good banners, text links and half page/full page ads mixed in including an exit console chain (how ever many u feel is comfortable). All linked up correctly in your chain of sites so you have proper link popularity and you end up ranking for terms like "Huster, Hustler Magaine" etc..
or
1. Giving away movies in whatever marketing idea you're thinking of (MGP, Hosted Galleries etc..).
There's a place for both methods out there and it's closed minded, short sighted and NOT thinking ahead to think that only 1 way of marketing works.
Fly. Using Pics, "Opt-in Emails" and Exits does work and it is considered thinking ahead. You're maximizing your traffic to get the most amout of sales.
Anyways, it's Halloween and I got stuff to go do so I'm not looking for a piss match. I'm just surpised to find someone who's selling a "how to" book on this who thinks that without movies you can't promote a sponsor. Kinda interesting perspective.
But it's all good. We all have our marketing techniques. Do whatever works for you. If you think using movies is the ONLY way to market and it works for you go for it.
We're always adding different promo tools for webmasters to use. I'll make sure to put this on our list :-)
