Wouldn't be supprised if most of the mailers were getting hammered with these damn email
viruses.. I run a small-ish mailing list and it's a pain in the ass even on a small scale.

well what i am reffering to is opt in mailers seeing less signups because the surfers are afraid to open up emails because of the virus

Haven't you guys noticed that sobig has self destructed?

Things have gone reasonably quiet again... no more 200+ virus bounces per day, until the next one gets released anyway...

nope no chat in stats, proper html mailings are not the kind that a virus is usually sent in really plus the average joe is no more worried about that kind of thing as any other time at the momment in my opinion
