The business moves fast, you either have to stay on top of the game or you get swept behind. I build some tgp software, and the scripts that im building now are completely different from scripts i build a month ago, they are even differnet from scripts I made a week ago

the key is to always evolve.

Now I'm not going to claim to actually 'know' anything about the internet pornography business, but this is how I feel on a personal level.

I am surfing and I find a TGP. The first thing I see when I enter this TGP is a top list to 'other' TGP's. I scroll down the page and I find links to tons of free porn. Then I exhaust that page and remember, 'wait, there was a list of OTHER sites like this when I came into this site.' So I scroll back up and go to ANOTHER TGP. I do this until my mouse hand is ready to fall off. Now I've had enough, until tomorrow when all of the TGP links will be changed for new ones.

And I would pay for porn because..... ?

People give 'free samples' when they are trying to introduce a new product and bring it to market. Once they have successfully brought their product to market and word of mouth takes off, there are no more free samples.

Why is it that we allow all of these 'free samples' in our industry? I know the answer why when it comes to the big players, but for the rest, what the fuck?? Are we ALL this ignorant?

OK, here's some food for thought all you guru's. If people are claiming that they convert 15 sales a day using the hun, then at lets say $35 X 15, they made $525,00 for 1 gallery for one day. (better check my math, I'm a little new at this).

If you stop building galleries, and stop submitting them, the TGP's will die. Once the TGP's die, a TON of bullshit 'air hits' will dissapear and SE traffic will once again reign. Marketing involves strategic targeting, not blind links and popup frenzies. Anyone with a clue knows this.

The highest converting traffic is SE traffic as it is more or less targeted. One day, SE's will start to filter out the clowns that use illegal and Bullshit meta-tags claiming that they have something they don't as that is called fraud.

Everyone wonders why our industry is shit-tanking, ... well get out of your fucking box and have a look at the reality of things, and anyone who wants to sit here and preach that TGP's and FREE porn are not destroying what was once a viable industry is just kidding themselves. (nice way of saying 'fucking moron').

I'm with GoodChris on this one - I'm all for a preview, but today I think it's just too much. A surfer just have to bookmark a tgp and he'll have no reason to go anywhere else since people insist on submitting close up DP's etc - there's nothing left for the surfer to want or signup for - it's already been shown for free...
There's a reason why is tgp traffic considered such low quality...

You mention that the Hun and such have to take care of their sponsors, well, they only have traffic because people link to them to get placement.

This is correct. I agree with your statement. The porn that is being sold is niche, and it will get sold. If the SE's were filtering out what sites were promoting, then people would make more sales on their niche markets without having to splay it all over the place for free with no return.

Too many sites offer all the same bought content and it is turning the legitimate buyers away once they get burned. Its a nasty catch 22 circle.

You know what else is hurting conversions? Competition. Let's go cry about that while we're at it. And what about surfers lack of trust? How about surfers bad experiences with paysites? Maybe poor customer service?
