well...I hate to say it as it's been said before...but design contests are kind of lame...designers are easy pickings, aren't they ;-)

you want a logo...then pay someone $50 an hour to design you a quality logo. choose a quality designer and go from there.

you want everyone to put out for free, have a design contest....

Hey "K" - thanks...the concept struck me as a live broadcast so I went with the status bars. Might not be best for video but it makes it look "live." A sliced version will have some sweet animation if the boss-man likes it :winkwink:

IMHO, best so far are lukapensa's white bg, harvey's 1st and 3rd, amph's 2nd and 3rd and quashe's in no particular order, even though I like lukapensa's a lot

Zayne's is great, but it's not related to the product and can't be used for printing, it's more like he wanted to do that no matter what the customer requested. Again IMHO

btw, all those with the Logitech cams should be taken apart

I have issue with one comment you made, alan-l: "...he wanted to do that no matter what the customer requested." I only read the initial post and glanced at the submissions before I made my design and posted (I am usually VERY busy and don't have time to read pages & pages of a thread):

Second...Do you know me? Do you know how I bend over backwards for the people who hire me? Do you know how I will frequently go through 7 or 8 (sometimes more) versions of a design only to have the client settle on the first thing I showed them? ANYTHING for the customer!

I am certain the logo I made can be used for printing as it is...I used to own a T-shirt design company and with 4-color process printing you can recreate anything for garment (or any other product) printing...but if "ready-to-print" to everyone means a text-only logo....

keep in mind though that posting logos in these threads is like free promotion for us. alot of people have viewed this thread so alot of people have seen my work and my signature. it's good publicity. :2 cents:

I find creating things completely from scratch so relaxing and enjoyable.

Wonder what people 2000 years from now will think when they look back on all the artwork that's been created digitally in our era. Will they look at our work the way we look at cave drawings?
