Ibill email

I wanted to correct the rumors, the email reads:

As communicated to you via e-mail dated July 16, 2003, iBill, as well as all other processors, will be required to initiate changes in the way aggregated clients (iBill Complete clients) accept and process MasterCard payments.

It's only for Ibill Complete, which are those merchants that sell tangible goods, not adult paysites.

Yes, Lens, and can you get some clarification on why it says ALL IBill clients?

I hate to be the voice of dissent here but as you know I've supported IBill even in the face of my other clients positions.

Bottom line is simple. They sent the email to some adult clients, are they not technically able to understand the difference in their system between adult and non-adult?

If not, then why? They have a multi multi million dollar company behind them, that I thought was getting them on the right path.

If it's a mistake then who's in charge of tech over there?
If it's not a mistake then what the fuck is going on?

Hmm, I didn't receive the Ibill email but I've only ever used them for 1-900. Lensman, are you sure it's a mistake? KK's post makes one wonder.

I wonder too. Especially since lens has been such a supporter of iBill.

Perhaps I caught them before they had planned on releasing the info?

Either way.. there are 3 processors I would use.. and none of them start with an "I"

I would really hate to think that is the case, especially since their email is dated July 23 and the compliance date is August, 1 -- this Friday. And I would also like a concise explanation of what "all IBill clients" means before I start telling my clients to move their business.

I don't wish IBill ANY ILL at all. I simply want to know what the email that Brad and others got had to do with their business.

And if it were an error on IBills part then I'd like to know what they are going to do within their internal systems to prevent such an error from happening again, given the fact that their email to such clients is irresponsible at best.

Then someone needs to explain this part of the email that Brad posted earlier--

Date: July 23, 2003

To: All iBill Clients

RE: MasterCard Compliance Contract Agreement

As communicated to you via e-mail dated July 16, 2003, iBill, as well as all other processors, will be required to initiate changes in the way aggregated clients (iBill Complete clients) accept and process MasterCard payments.

i also heard the same story from my rep earlier today. *shrug*
