AOL IP's and Proxies question...
Does anyone know how often an AOL users IP changes?

every time that user connects on the internet if he has dynamic IP. If they have statis, they don't change IPs. In any case they almost always will visit your site using the aol proxies. Same as spanish terra and telefonica.net surfers will visit you using the telefonica / terra proxy.

but the IP they are using is with them for the session... untill they hang up.
Is this the same with broadband too? Or can they cycle your IP without doing a soft-reset on your modem? I'm just trying to figure out what the shortest amount of time a user would have an IP assigned to them. (not including deliberate rotating proxy users) |
