I do not know if this was Pornkings described was done on my programme - But for certain, this webmaster had ALL the details needed to create several sales -

I caught him very quickly - I was suspicious at first because the site the traffic was coming from had no visible means of it's own traffic - So I went through all log files and checked each sign up time against log activity.

Came up with a bookmark direct to the sign up page everytime.

This thief was doing the same to about 20 other sites the same time -

Sounds familar..... wasn't from Lithuania was he? The big one which I remember was also pretty easy to spot , and he wanted his cash wired to him straight away after signing up... hmm, I think not.

Not that I know of - This guy had a usa address - Probably just for collecting cash!

alot of the fraudualnt acounts I've noticed lately are address's from
philadelphia,Vancouver,Montreal and Po boxes from NY.

yes but they use stolen cards or cards pulled off fake paysites. etc.

so you need to know what to look for in your stats to catch them.

the chargeback come in later by that time they have already been paid out or moved on.

best thing to do is if you suspect an acount or webmaster is fraudulant hold there check to see what there chargebacks are and or shut them off. its up to each program to determine what to do.

If we worked together we would be able to control it much better and put a stop to it.

because it affects us all in the long run

Like Ive told oh so many before, I dont care if you cheat or if you're a cheater, but if you cheat me thats another thing. Thats when you take this cheating into the realm of gambling. And I love to gamble.

Hey Roger ...

Timbo & I were discussing the idea of a shared fraud database some more.. I see there were some concerns with it being mis-used & whatnot but I have some ideas that ought to limit that.

We've been hit with our share of frauder's as well and would love to help eliminate the problem. I've done all the programming for APM & we're up for setting something up for all sponsors to use, perhaps we should discuss it further in private. :)
