NY state dude just barged into my house!

You won't believe this, but my parents mentioned some NYSIF dude who kept coming by the house with a nasty attitude.

Then just yesterday the same dude just walks into the house via the basement, waltzes up the stairs and into our kitchen!

Like me and my cousin are both 6'2" and combined over 500lbs and he stands there with a tude! Dude got outta there pronto after we got his name and license plate.

Far as I know no one's supposed to barge into your crib even a state representative. Should we go to the kennels and sick the dogs on his ass?

Do you have a home business?

Maybe they have some right to inspect your place of business?

Either that or he's just a dickhead.

i'm not familiar with the term "NYSIF" and when i looked it up, all i could find was New York State Insurance Fund, which probably isn't what you're talking about.

so, what is NYSIF ?

They can't come in without a warrant (if they are a cop) or prior notice/permission (if they are anyone else). You sure it wasn't some scary dude with a fake badge?

I believe they can if they are bounty hunters and there is a fugitive in the house.

Not without permission. Hell, if my landlord (who owns my house) is barred by law from entering without my permission, and the police are barred without permission or a warrant, I can't imagine any kind of official could just walk in.

The Attorney General, y'all know who that is... or his duly appointed representatives can come into your house, seize whatever they want....all without a warrant.

I believe the fourth amendment covers that. Unlawful search and seizure:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Not sure where you picked up that piece of information, but it's just plain wrong.

Wake up. All that needs to be is you suspected of being involved in 'terrorist activities' (which could be painted very broadly) and they don't need a warrant AND they never even have to tell you your house was searched. Bush and ASScr0ft wipes their ass with the constitution.

NOBODY has a right to just walk into your house, I threaten my apartment complex because a construction guy they hired threaten to come in my house and wreak my apartment up (break everything) - because my roommates daughter put her hand's in the wet cement. I told the complex, I don't want that guy in front of my apartment at ALL and if he steps one foot in my apartment he's getting a baseball bat striaght to the head!

Another great reason to live in Canada.
Atleast here both cops and thieves ask for an invite to your home before they stick it to you.

It's worse than that. The fucking NYSIF ( new york state insurance fund ) is supported by the governor: Pataki

Far as I'm concerned it's a case of an institution estab in 1914 and has gotten out of hand.

It wouldn't suprise me if organized crime wasn't deep in it.

I shit you not, they better have a damned good explanation for this shit or the Governor is gonna hear from me like the burnin' bush talkin' to Moses.

ONly reason this guy did what he did was cause he felt comfortable to do it. That means either the office or the institution allows this shit or was neglegent.

I don't bullshit when it comes to my constitutional rights and believe you me I've enough relatives in gov who are top judges and lawyers regarding constitutional law and now they're pissed.

So like I said, this guy had better have an excuse better than 'God told me' cause even God ain't gonna help this fool.

My dad is in code enforcement and they can go in a house any time they want. They have more rights than cops and are often called by the cops to help in certain situations.

he does give a rats ass about how big you are.
You already made it an issue.
While they routinely create problems where none exist to drive forward their own livelihood; like any govt agency or branch of it... you are a perfect canidate for insurance fraud or at least a scapegoat. which ever applies and whenever they decide.
