You know, I don't know you, and I don't presume to assume. But I will say this. Two wrongs DO NOT make a right, and looking back at some of the stuff that's spouted from your most colorful arsenal of names to call people down with, it doesn't come off to me as very professional in the least, and REALLY does not give me a good impression of the company that you represent. I get into a pissing match now and then, but I would NEVER stoop to schoolyard namecalling, no matter who or what the situation was, especially where my peers and potential customers could see it. In fact, I would have to say I'm far from impressed with the behavior of EVERYONE involved from your company. Shocked, really.

From posting the check to petty, shallow namecalling (and I don't particularly care if it was or was not returned, you are supposed to be representing yourself for CUSTOMERS) it was just one big circus.

That's my . You can do whatever you like with it.

BTW thanks for all your great gfyer's that helped me out. I've got the attorney, he's looking at it now and so far he says it looks like I have a 99.9 chance of winning the case.

As an outsider, it seems to me that Yes Candid acted a bit unprofessional, but dokk (or his wife) did in fact write a Bad Check ?? so all of this is just a bunch of garbage... and it is dokk (or his wife) that is the criminal here??.... I think KC said it very well in his post a page back.....
I will say this is gfy drama at it's best.

Wow this is amazing. Candid is a well established company who apparently has a lot of guys on here posting and responding in a very unprofessional manner. So what's the rundown.

You have employees posting checks from your customers.
That's a major fuckup.

You have employees calling names.
Very professional when you're representing a company.

You have employees willing to meet and fight and asking people to come to your booth.
Very professional again. That is an excellent method for a companys employees to represent and deal with disputes and customer complaints..

I believe an attempted credit card processing slip was posted as well.
Again even with slight blurs this is still very unprofessional.

How anyone could run a company like this or allow their employees to act this way in a public forum is just totally classless. Now most people wonder what kind of treatment they might receive if they were a customer.

I see people saying things suck and making accusations all the time to companies and their products. However I don't see company employees making threats, calling names and posting personal information all while representing their company.

Just because you guys are in an adult industry and we are all fairly frank and upfront does not mean that it's advisable to act in an unbelievably unprofessional manner. I hope this thread is around for a long long time so that everyone can see how your company does business. Even if you're baited into an arguement you have to remain professional and you guys couldn't fail much worse than you did.

This kind of hurts to post in a public forum but I have to.. because I really not a scumbag.


My wife usually handles all the accounting. She goes to the mailbox, she makes all the deposits and writes all the checks.

A lot of wives do that.. Since I only have a staff of 2 to do most of the work there's usually a lot to get done. ...

Anyway... Tammy (my wife, i'm paul, daughter ieanne (7yrs) has an extremely rare genetic blood disease that will eventually kill her. It could be tomorrow.. it could be in six months.. a year.. but she's already been in ICU 3 times while the doctors were trying to figure out what was turning her blood into karo syrup. I can't pronounce the name of the thing but Tammy knows what it is.


There is no cure as of this date. It can only be sort of controlled if she's very careful about what she eats drinks and does. There are certain medications she must take to maintain her blood balance. One of the very and many unfortunate side effects is that she forgets a lot of times. Sometimes I'll have to remind her three times just to get a loaf of bread and she'll still forget to bring it back.

I lost my last wife to cancer.. there was no cure at the time and don't know if there is now but even if so it's a little too late.

I try as much as possible to keep up with what goes in and what goes out.. I'd emailed travis telling him if he ever had a problem please, just email me first before cutting me off. That's all I asked.

YOu know.. I'd love to have a big crew like all the legends, but i'm just a regular guy and nobody special that happened to luck out and about the only thing ihave going for me is my voice. But I chose to not do it with a big crew, not to buy a big flashy car, not to get one of those stretch things and not to throw drunken hotel room parties.. I chose instead to just continue to invest and study and work on all the latest technologies I could lay my hands on. But the biggest reason is I want EVERYBODY to afford to advertise on the radio and on banners.

That's why I sold alll those top and bottom multi site multi page banners for a YEAR with a free 2 minute commercial for 1 MONTH.

The Price: 250.00 a year
That's not a monthly payment it's a one time payment and it was yours. IMHO boards have been charging WAY too much for WAY too little exposure and I'm out to do my little part to give the little guy who can't afford the big guy stuff a chance to be with the big guys. So needless to say we cut our prices razor thin so we can give as much back to the customers as possible rather than try to get more every month.


Anyway... I"m pretty sure if you look you'll see all the checks were signed by Tammy and not me.. and I do believe we have sent them cashiers checks and money orders and good checcks even overnight.

The fact is that she didn't intentionally write a bad check with her medical problems it's hard for her to keep up with everything that's why we always try to pay as fast as we can via credit card so i don't have to worry about it.. or her.

But Candid won't take a credit card unless I sign that contract.. and i'm sure you all know by now what they can do with that.

And the checks were bounced from a PERSONAL account.. usually we keep very little money in there because almost always I pay via credit card or cash, cashiers check or money order. Or any one of several accounts at other banks and even paypal if they'll acccept it.


So now you know the whole story that I didn't want to fucking tell because knowing that your wife is going to die and knowing that you are going to be a single parent and knowing that i could never marry another woman. And that my last wife had died... which are details of my deeply personal life that I didn't ever want to have to disclose on a public board.

Now if you'll excuse me please, I'd like to go outside for a while and just sit and relax.
