Thought this was interesting. Especially since everyone is in a big uproar about spam...

But I have yet to see a spammer get away with this!!

HOLY SHIT,, the other day i got a similar phone call,, i have privacy block but it came on the caller ID,,

Dude was telling me that he was verifing my info to be placed on a telemarket remove list,, it sounded good

he had all my information,, address, phone, birthdate
but once he asked for me to verify my SSN i got real suspicous and just hung up the phone

that shit is wild,, i knew people that telemarket and they do some wicked shit, that girl was a pro and made alot of sales with that tactic,,, notice how fast she was talking in the end,, the sales reps have quota's to fill and they make fat commissions

Telemarketing and spam are the same damn thing. I don't care if it is my phone, my email, my chat program or whatever. It's a nuisance.
