Vivid probably has the most well known name to the general public cuz their girls do a ton of publicity work and they are almost mainstream entertainment now.

Anabolic, Diabolic, Evil Angel are the best known to people who actually rent alot of vids.

Probably the biggest bread winner in the business is Evil Angel. EA consists of the greats: Buttman (Stagliano), John Leslie, Joey Silvera, Rocco, Randy West, Christopher Clark and now Jules Jordan.

While the feature companies (Vivid, Wicked and VCA) tend to make most of their money off of the cable market, companies like Evil Angel move tons of product. This is the stuff strokers are buying in their local porno shop.

Anabolic and Red Ligth District do very well, too.

Private is actually one of the biggest although it's much bigger in Europe than the U.S. But Private was the first porn company to be traded on the NASDAQ. I think they have 100M+ in revenue and about 400 employees worldwide.
