So your saying the miltary doesn't get trained in martial arts? I am reasonably sure on this one. At the very least you can say that the 82nd Airborne instructs their personel in hand to hand combat. And since it is your proffession then yes you are professionally trained in hand to hand combat. To brag about beating the shit out of some kid in a drunken stupor is beyond abhorrent. He has already stated that he is willing to drink and drive. But he was too drunk to drive, he had to have one of his buddies drive them to the hospital. Slice however you want beating someone so bad they have to go to the hospital is a fucking disgrace.

Lets put it this way. Combat training no matter what branch not only teaches assult tactics, but also any well trained service person has spent countless hours learning how to control them selves mentally. You don't see the mental training in movies and on TV because it's boring to watch.

This is why I don't belive one bit theking ever served or is a highly trained hand to hand assasian or what ever he wants to belive. Sure a few areas of the special forces spend years training in hand to hand combat. That is not the status quoe for everyone in the service though.
