You watch it and see a huge disadvantage, with the car stopped 30 meters short of the charging point and he had to find an alternative way of charging it...

I see it as it gave him a legitimate excuse to go and hang out in the pub for a few hours !

That said, how often do you have to push your car because you ran out of gas that this would be an issue?
