The first picture in that article... well, I'd like to kick that person's face in.

This is kind of cool. Pig hunting with Monkeys.

I think the monkeys would be scared to jump on a boar as big as in the original poster's pic.

I met a guy that hunts them in Orange County... feral pigs from SD... which is crazy enough but add to that the fact which is they get up to a few hundie pounds

and all he uses is a couple dogs and a knife.

No. They go after the animal, and finish it. And this is not happening all the time, but it does happen sometimes. Even with an "unfair rifle".

......but for those people in this thread that are talking about bow hunting as the only real "sport", Bow hunters NEVER take down an animal right away. They have to follow it every time in order to find out where it went to die. Only rifles have a chance of putting an animal down right then and there. Those bow hunters will hit an animal, and then follow the blood trail for a long time until eventually it falls over.

The reality is that for most of us, who rarely or never hunt, unless you get a great opportunity to hunt some virgin territory far from the beaten path, you are not only competing with wild animals fighting for their lives with millions of years of evolution learning to avoid being eaten by predators with millions of years of evolution learning to catch them, but you are also competing with thousands of other hunters out for the weekend, a popular hunting spot is like a sausage fest bro party with 25 guys hitting on the same 2 ugly girls.

You are lucky to even see a wild animal let alone kill it before it sees you and runs off or before someone else sees it and kills it first.

Meanwhile we really need to step up the boar hunting because they are becoming a real menace to crops, livestock and people throughout the southern USA.

.

glad someone noticed that.. Those things can be down right deadly at that size.
