OK so has anyone seen this movie yet? THE RING

I would have to chalk it up to one of the best put together movies I have seen in awhile..
So I was watching it with my Girlfriend who scares easily with horror flicks.
Well about 20 minutes into it she is awready barried her head deep behind me in the couch.. See I dont want to give the movie away with this.. But basically after these people watch a movie as soon as it is over the phone rings and a girls voices says "You will die in 7 days" And they do!!!
Soooo me being the practical prankster that I am Figure I would pull a little funny..
So I messege my buddy and tell him that at exactly 1:02 call the house with the # blocked and have his chick say... Well you know........
He didnt even get a chance to say it because as soon as it rang she Screemed and freaked out!! Course I jumped a little to because it was perfect timeing and the movie was FUCKING SCARY!!
So anyway she answers it cause I tell her cmon its a movie and all a sudden she starts crying and yelling "I dont want to die I dont want to die!!! I dont want to die!!!"
OHHHHHHH If only I had it on video tape!!!
So yea!! needless to say I think I may have just cut off my supply to sex for awhile....
But hey if anyone else wants to play a little funny on their chick this is the ultimate!!!!

LOL, I hope you're right. It's been a long time since anything really scared me and I miss the adrenaline rush. I doubt it'll work, though. I don't scare easily except when I _want_ to be scred. I can work myself into a real tremor with the right book

I lost a Gfriend once in a similar situation.

We had a scary movie night, and rented the Exorcist movie series. So, we watched it, and she was all nuzzled into my chest all scared and shit...

So, I thought I would pull a funny....

We went to bed after the movies and she was creeped out... so I said "Everything is ok... Here, check this out..." and I proceeded to make my head spin 720 degrees, and I puked all over her.

She got pissed, and took off. I haven't seen her since.

The Ring was fantastic. So incredibly freaky. The movie got stuck in my head for days after I first say it.

That really creepy music that plays during the video gives me chills. A fellow co-worker was watching it down the hall on his computer. I didn't know this and suddenly I hear that creepy music coming from down the hall and I freaked out.

If you guys like the Ring, well you might find this info about the sequel interesting. Just to clarify, the Ring is based off of a Japanese film called RingU. The Japanese version has a prequel and a sequel:

RingWorld reports that the sequel will NOT have anything to do with the Japanese sequels, and a rough script will be ready by December of this year with an October 2004 release date in mind. Seems that a contact in DreamWorks has confirmed that "meetings have taken place about Ring 2. It looks like Naomi Watts has been in talks to star again, and she is about to sign. She will pull in an estimated $15 million (unconfirmed publicly) for her reprisal of her role, and the child actor will return as her son. No concrete story has been proposed, but Director Gore Verbinski may not return. The writing team will reunite. Spielberg, Wes Craven or Sam Mendes may take over the project"

WELL I was right no love last night but she couldnt sleep by her self! MUAHAHAHA So at least I got to snuggle up with her until she passed out.... ANd then I decided I would make it even worse.... =) I went and recorded the clip of the video in the flick onto a vhs tape and pluged it into the vcr in the room... =)

She didnt find that remotely funny at all =(

I get into movies too -- that's the only way to really enjoy the shit... If the movie is good, takes me a few hours to saunter out of the whole trance... it's kindof fun to feel like you're in that world ever after the movie is over, contemplate the various aspects of the film, get into the heads of the actors or just the whole aura... Take Apocalypse Redux -- you are in a fucking jungle, primal man, survival, blood... this gets at the core of your existance... Fortunately I've never had to kill anyone...

The movie got stuck in my head for days after I first say it. That really creepy music that plays during the video gives me chills. A fellow co-worker was watching it down the hall on his computer. I didn't know this and suddenly I hear that creepy music coming from down the hall and I freaked out. If you guys like the Ring, well you might find this info about the sequel interesting. Just to clarify, the Ring is based off of a Japanese film called RingU. The Japanese version has a prequel and a sequel: RingWorld reports that the sequel will NOT have anything to do with the Japanese sequels, and a rough script will be ready by December of this year with an October 2004 release date in mind. Seems that a contact in DreamWorks has confirmed that "meetings have taken place about Ring 2. It looks like Naomi Watts has been in talks to star again, and she is about to sign. She will pull in an estimated $15 million (unconfirmed publicly) for her reprisal of her role, and the child actor will return as her son. No concrete story has been proposed, but Director Gore Verbinski may not return. The writing team will reunite. Spielberg, Wes Craven or Sam Mendes may take over the project"

If the movie is good, takes me a few hours to saunter out of the whole trance... it's kindof fun to feel like you're in that world ever after the movie is over, contemplate the various aspects of the film, get into the heads of the actors or just the whole aura... Take Apocalypse Redux -- you are in a fucking jungle, primal man, survival, blood... this gets at the core of your existance... Fortunately I've never had to kill anyone...
