Using a 22" beauty here

Set your windows resolution settings to 800x600 or so. Mostly, you can have your res.settings just 2 clicks away in your traybar - there something in your control panel where you can activate that traybar symbol

minitor size doesnt really mean anything, it's all about the resolution. Just resize yoru IE window to 800 pixels wide and you'll know

my 14 inch monitor is in 1024x768 so everything looks fine

Thanks, I was looking at OS Stats the other day on hits and 1024 was almost even with 800 by people hitting the site..

They're pretty country specific though. It simply seems Germany has better monitors on the whole. I've seen several other URL's (nope, don't have the URL's to hand) that make 800x600 a much higher number on English speaking sites. However, no doubt about it that 800 is declining fast.
