Another vote for amerinoc. I have vps and dedicated. Never down...I repeat, never down. If you're serious about marketing or development you shouldn't choose shared account (with ANY hosting provider). Just my 2 cents :2 cents:

It isn't a fault of AmeriNOC in this case, unless you have some managed agreement with them to try and help fix some of your issues directly by looking into your sites and figuring out what is causing the spikes and crashes. This takes time and time is money. I don't think people steered you wrong when it comes to hosting with AmeriNOC. I've had nothing but the best support and service from them. They provide a great service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again and again. I know enough to be my own server admin, which mostly suggests it's likely more about the sites and usage than the host. Did you try the caching plugin that wehateporn recommended? |
I'd like to just chime in that I've been with Amerinoc for something like 10 years and have had absolutely no need to look elsewhere. Their support simply kicks ass.

Most of the shared accounts can host 30 wordpress installation with modest amount of traffic. You can go with expensive ones like this for 9.95$ or cheap ones for 2-3$/month, not much difference really.
Everytime hosting tells me I have to move to VPS and pay 10x more I just say :321GFY and move to another shared hosting provider For host uptime tracking there is a nice website host-tracker.com , I think free package includes couple of tracked sites |
I work with amerinoc for about three years and no major problems so far. Couldnt be more happy with them :)

I can only admit what all are saying here. I host some of my sites with Amerinoc / Phatservers now over 3 years and had never ever a problem with that. They are very stable, have nearly no downtime and the support is great. So i dont know which problem you have, but to say that Amerinoc is shit, tells me only, that you have no clue from the biz or what a good hoster is!

been with amerinoc for years now. honestly they are great. occasionally i'll run into a problem but they usually fix them pretty swiftly. i can understand how frustrating it is when you are trying to work and you run into one of those problems though.
