Well if this was caused by karma it wouldnt be because she was a serial killer or child abuser. A child abuser would come back as an abused child and a serial killer would come back and people around him he loved would be killed.

IF this was caused by karma it would be from causing the same infliction on someone else.

Whether she deserved it or not is irrelevant. Its still sad as hell and breaks my heart.
My 7 month old son was killed in a car accident a year ago and I sometimes wonder what would be worse, him dying or surviving and being messed up like that.

but karma doesnt work the way you described. (been a killer - get kileld) it rather measures up a total amount of suffering that a being has caused to other beings and then it makes that being experience suffering many times more that it had caused.

You misunderstood, I didnt say if you're a killer you get killed.
Rather, someone you love gets killed. When someone kills someone they have cause pain to the people surrounding the one that got killed and they must experience that pain themselves in order to learn from it. There are many variations but the general purpose of karma is cause and effect and to hopefully learn. Dont you agree?
