You might want to call epoch and see if your IP was banned....

It is coming up fine for me - we have been having a problem with them banning IP's

Oh ... now these new business models where you fuck the consumers out of $105 bucks on one join form is okay because you have terms & conditions.??? NO!!!!! CHARGEBACK is a prompt choice, they will easily charge back. I feel sorry for those processors ...

Here you go getting yourself fucked one CC company by one ... I'd like to know how many times can you be fined before your entire 3rd processor gets shut down ... there has got to be a limit ... do tell. :}

Our wire and checks (we get both) all came in on time. Our billing date was changed as well but rather than showing up here and bashing or sending an e-mail, I was smart and I called them and asked, after all it is my money and an e-mail is not important enough for money.

They changed our billing date a few weeks back. As well I remember reading an e-mail and seeing a post about the billing date changes. They want everyone on the same billing date.

As for CCbill, they are rock solid just like Epoch. We use epoch as our main processor because they will process more, offer more features (yes we use them all) and we still maintain a .6% chargeback ratio. Guess that means we won't be getting a letter telling us to pay a fine

It's not the processor that fucks the member over, it's the paysite owner.

I do think that all processors (all our guilty) should go through all the sites more often. I see people using epoch, ccbill and ibill doing some fucked up shady shit. When I see it I do report it. Epoch and CCbill BOTH normally take action from what I have seen.

What the real up's and downs of the processors?
Epoch = more features and will process more transactions than any other processor as they use their own clearning house.

CCbill = Great processor, great support like Epoch but they have one thing epoch doesnt... Stats for smaller webmasters.

Ibill = I bill will fucking kill any other processor on rebills BUT they also loose the most in the mixture. Suppot sux as well.

PSWbilling = Will process 30% less than the above processors. Scrub is fucking hardcore with them. Which is fine as well, keeps the chargebacks down for the newer people.

Personally if I owned a processor I would do things different. New clients would have 3 months probation. New accounts should be watched even more for new fraud. All accounts would be reviewed often. I figure as well, if you have to pay the $750 fee then your account covers all chargeback costs and fines if they are handed down. After all, your wanting to process VISA then I figure the site owners should step up the plate. I'm a paysite owner and would agree with this, as I have no worries about it effecting my business.

Don't worry so much about the processors. VISA is fixing to step in and go over and around the processor and start shutting down trouble sites... Just watch, if your on the ball enough you would already notice that it has started to happen.

I knew this was gonna happen. I knew as soon as I heard that epoch was allowing some sort of "Free Signup" bullshit. You just can't do that without the chargebacks going sky high. These fines are to pay for that shit.

I"d move more business too ccbill, but they seem too drop the recurring on the floor and the checks never built up like they do with epoch.

I guess late payments and fines are the price we pay for the better recurring with epoch.

"Dear Sir:
Thank you for your email. The Wires will be going out early next week. We apologize for the delay please know that it is nothing major but it has to do with Mastercard fines that had to be made. Wehope to pay all of our clients at least two Wires for next week. We want to get back to our regular Friday payment schedule."

It was on the front of GFY so I posted on it. How it got up top I have no idea but I don't ever go past the first page so I have no clue

Kinda makes since on why I have heard of this now and was wondering myself why someone was bitching about it....

was it on the first page doc or was it the first line item in your drop down url bar?

I've had things like that happen to me all the time, don't even realize I'm not on the right page ;)

In either case, wimpy, Epoch is certainly not the only, nor the longest running processor to do free anything. CCBill's been doing free trials and add on sales for select clients for years now -- large clients -- and had no real issues from it.

Disclosure to the consumer in plain sight will win you more sales than trying to hide shit.

Ok I have no idea why this old thread that I started is here today but anyway I want to set the record straight. Paycom paid me right after this was posted, end of story please leave this thread die or lets just dig it up a oouple months from now. Paycom is great as well as CCBill. I just hope the processors communicate with us better to avoid these nasty threads.

Why don't you step up to the plate and get a merchant account and start saving fees if you are on the up and up?
