A bump for those coming back to life after returning from Internext...and here's a design I did for a billing company some time ago...

Mike, I've actually been pretty fortunate! I've had numerous conversations with companies but the hangup is, all but one of them, want in-house only. I'm still working on a trial project for the one company that isn't requiring me to be in-house...but until I have a formal offer from someone I am going to keep putting the pans on the fire...you just never know how things are going to turn out.

So, I'm still looking and hopeful to find a stable situation :)

One last day of bumpage...Happy Friday!

I understand and don't blame you. I'll continue to keep my eye out for you as well. You've come through for me on far too many occasions for me to not help. lol

A high quality designer that can also program is almost unheard of these days

Hey Zane... I know what you're going through. Finding a good solid remote position these days is tough. I've been looking since my days with HomegrownVideo earlier last year and am still doing piece meal work. That's okay, but would much rather have a solid full time gig. Your designs fucking rock man... best of luck to you. I can do php/mysql also... you'd think that designers with those skills would be sucked up pretty quickly. Oh well, we'll keep looking and eventually things will happen. Good luck! Not trying to steal your thread, just letting you know you are not alone out there.

If anyone could find me something, it's you, Mike -- I appreciate it!

Hey Marcus...no worries for posting in the thread. We're all in the same boat. As I said...I'm very fortunate...I am still working on a trial project for the one company willing to let me work remotely. Still waiting to see how it turns out :) And I've actually landed a couple of new clients in the process for freelance work with the possibility of work with another. So it's all good. Work is a good thing no matter what form it comes in...but stable work is the best, by far :)

_Richard_ 01-14-2011 12:39 PM

nice work!

Xer0 01-14-2011 12:44 PM

Good luck Zayne, and nice work! :thumbsup

Zayne E. 01-14-2011 03:04 PM

Thanks guys :)

Zayne E. 01-17-2011 09:59 AM

Still looking...no word yet on my trial project. It kicks ass but the guy in charge has been ill and unable to provide feedback for me to complete it. Will happily quote freelance projects as well :)
