Just finished submitting to a ton of galleries.
Too many fucking recip rules.
#1 No recip required but appreciated.
#2 Recip required if other recips are on the page.
This I can understand it's only fair to the tgp.
#3 Recip required, no other recips allowed.
What the fuck is up with this? There is a back button. It's not like the surfer is going to come across another tgp while looking at your gallery if there are no fucking recips.
#4 Recip required, plus recips of other tgp's.
This I can understand to. They are hoping to steal Thumbzilla, hun, or al4a traffic. But what if the other tgp's don't want other recips on their gallery.
The simple fact is I'm tired of making so many fucking variations on one gallery.
This is just one problem and might be small but when you combine it with quantity of thumbs required, who accepts what sponsor and who doestn't, who accepts what free host and who doesn't and all of the other petty ass bullshit that is included in these rules.
I think we all need to just get together and maybe work out a compromise. I'm not for telling anyone how to run their business it is their business but the simple fact is we have our own little circle of life here.
We are all dependent upon each other, no one is more important, and no one less.
If there weren't tgp's there wouldn't be any gallery submissions, and if there weren't any gallery submissions tgp's would have to create their own as well as foot the bandwidth bill for all of that content.
I say we need a porn summit. Get some sort of conformity here so we can all process this shit a lot quicker and smoother.
If the tgp's could get together and come up with a basic set of guidelines to follow they would then have a more consistent flow of gallery submissions. Of course there are still going to be those rogue assholes who are going to pull their shit that's a given.
However. I believe you would have a lot less mistakes on webmasters parts when submitting their galleries because they forgot to add that extra recip, or they submitted only 10 thumbs when 20 galleries before you were okay with that instead of 15.
So tell me what you guys think.
