Owner/Site Founder bought back the company a couple of years ago.
He is 100% focused on the member experience and engagement on the AFF site, also making it compliant against any current or upcoming Age-verification laws and KYC requirements.

made it a little harder to convert pure adult traffic than it was a decade ago, but with the right audience, it still appeals to users.

Underneath the sanitized PG(non-nude) landing pages we have now it's still a full adult & sex-oriented community (personal blogs, custom groups, member-to-member camming). Some members do make real connections and friends (it's in the name lol) so they continue to renew.

This had functionally nothing to do with the dating business. Just a couple of outsiders using the huge cashflows to wall street some money around. I was doing 7 figures a year with AFF during that time and it had no affect on the affiliate program.
