Hey Stricpcash, what's going wrong on your end?

This ticket was created on your behalf.

To add additional comments, reply to this email.
    Dear blablabla,

We're currently reviewing our partners' traffic sources to make sure the information in our system is up-to-date.

Could you please tell me how you're currently driving traffic to Stripchat? I'd really appreciate it if you could share your current traffic sources (websites, social media, etc.), any relevant links, and a quick overview of your traffic flow.

Please note that this review is mandatory, hope to hear from you!

    Best regards,
    StripCash Team

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What went wrong at your company?
Do your affiliate managers just sleep all day or what did they do in the past?

Why aren't traffic sources scrutinized before or while people are sending you traffic, but only month or years after they've stopped
and still have a few recurring payments in the account?

"share your current traffic sources (websites, social media, etc.), any relevant links, and a quick overview of your traffic flow"

Should I just hand over a glass full of piss and a blood sample too, to make your own media buying easier?
How about checking out your referral stats, too and then program a required field in the Affiliate Dashboard, so that the information can be entered there from the start.

If I remember correctly, it was your affiliate managers who asked me about traffic here on the forum via PM back in 2014.
Back then, your managers weren't the least bit interested in traffic sources.

And to keep the answer brief, we have no plans—either now or in the future—to drive traffic to your system.
I think that means we can now close the ticket!

    Best Regards Beaver

I agree with that for the most part, but it shouldn't be done before or while sending them traffic—it should be done afterward.
None of these guys care about your traffic as long as you're sending them 500K visitors a day!

The best part is they want the info only after people have already stopped pushing and are just collecting residual crumbs. Peak timing.
I’m with you 100%. Handing over detailed sources just so their media buyers can steal the angles is a hard pass. Ticket closed is the correct move.

I always wonder if it's because they want to make sure you're not using underage AI or any content they don't like on your pages, or if they want all your ideas so they can outbid you for the traffic you send and replicate the angles you've worked hard to find that are profitable?

I heard some good feedback regarding the results with StripCash, and it seems to be the latest well made cam site on the market (I don't know the people behind it personally and have no first hand experience with them).

But agree this is not a legit behavior, as long as you accepted the traffic beforehand, it's plain stupid to ask for verification, once there's only the remaining referred memberships in place.
I also never liked the "must have active traffic" to the program approach, lifetime rev-share should be lifetime rev-share.

If you want to talk shop, would be glad to re-connect - maybe we could share some insider tips (I vaguely remember we were connected over ICQ back in the day).

I received the same mail a month or so back, and as I had seen an especially good few months leading up to the "traffic review" email, I suspected they were looking for a way to offload me and keep the whales. However, this wasn't the case, despite thinking it was odd that they were asking for information that was readily available to any rep who had access to my affiliate stats, I complied and continue to work with them without any changes.

That's why I don't understand such silly requests,
especially since those guys are buying their traffic on our site anyway—and I bet at prices far lower than the payouts shown in our Revare dashboard.

Reading this as an affiliate manager: asking for traffic sources before approving traffic is normal diligence. Asking for them years later, when only residual revshare is left, just erodes trust — especially when the program already tracks every click and signup in your stats. If the data was good enough to pay on for years, it should be good enough now. — Rachel

I applied to be an affiliate thinking this was routine compliance as well. In my case, they started by wanting to see invoices for my media buys. I sent them screenshots and then drew the line when they wanted to see my top sources. My application was promptly rejected and the account was terminated as I wasn't willing to give them what I consider trade secrets. Lesson to be learned, some affiliate programs will hide by compliance checks as a way to find competitive information, thankfully, the programs I work closely with respect boundaries when it comes to trade secrets. This was not one of them.

I will never understand why programs, both adult & mainstream would ever do this, or things like this? They have a working and profitable program, they gets lots of affiliates to send them millions of daily hits, affiliates who will send more if they are making money, which makes the programs owners more money for the long term, and then they do shit like what you wrote above, or they allow models to steal, or they skim etc. ? People can't seem to help shooting themselves in the foot I guess.
