Business Built 21 niche adult tubes on a custom platform. 2 months in, $5k. Yandex loves it, Google doesn't.

Two months ago I launched a network of 21 niche adult tube websites. Not on WordPress. Not on a script. On a platform I built myself from scratch.

The idea was simple: one backend, one codebase, centralized updates — but 21 completely independent frontends with different SEO structures, branding, and content strategies. Fix a bug once, all 21 sites benefit. Ship a feature once, all 21 sites get it.

    The network:

Each property targets a specific audience — gay, lesbian, trans, MILF, Asian, Latina, ebony, anal, and more. Flagship is 360XTube (https://360xtube.com). Others follow the same pattern: 360GayTube, 360LesbianTube, 360TGTube, 360MILFTube (https://360milftube.com), 360AsianTube, and so on.

Where things stand after 2 months:

Yandex picked up everything fast. Main site is doing 1,000–1,500 visits/day, mostly Turkish audience. Smaller properties are running 200–1,000/day each. For two months with zero Google traffic, I'll take it.

Google is barely moving. Pages are indexed but nothing is ranking yet. I know it's a patience game in a competitive niche, but curious if anyone here has experience accelerating Google indexing for a new network of this size.

    The honest numbers:
    • $5,000 total invested (infra, content, tooling)
    • 0 employees, 0 contractors — everything done by me
    • 21 live properties
    • Custom-built platform, no WP, no scripts

    Why I didn't use WordPress:

Managing 21 WordPress installs at scale is 21 individual problems. I wanted infrastructure, not a publishing platform. Took much longer to build. Worth it — launching a new niche now takes hours, not weeks.

    What I'm figuring out:

Google timeline for a niche adult network. Monetization beyond standard ad networks. Whether it makes more sense to double down on Yandex/Turkey or prioritize English SEO.

Anyone run a similar multi-site structure? What killed Google indexing speed for you, and what actually helped?

Interesting result. If Yandex loves it and Google does not, I would look first at index quality, duplicate pages, thumb/title patterns, internal linking, and whether each niche tube has enough unique structure.

Google is brutal on adult auto-pages now.

Thanks! That’s exactly what we’re seeing so far.

Interestingly, Yandex picked up the project very quickly and we’re already getting steady organic traffic there. From a technical SEO perspective, everything is set up properly: unique SEO content, strong internal linking, clean architecture, multilingual support, optimized metadata, XML sitemaps, and niche-specific structures for every site.

The network is still very new, though, so I think Google is simply in the evaluation phase. New domains usually take time before they gain enough trust, especially in the adult niche.

We also had a pretty interesting (and frustrating) situation with ExoClick — our publisher account was terminated even though we believed everything was configured correctly. It turned out there were some things we completely overlooked. I’m planning to write a detailed post here about what happened, what mistakes we found, and what other publishers can learn from it. I think it could be useful for anyone building adult websites.

Impressive setup for two months solo.
Custom platform with 21 frontends sharing one backend is the right call long-term. WordPress would have turned into a maintenance nightmare at that scale.
Google is slower and pickier with fresh adult networks - they want consistent signals over time (backlinks, brand searches, user engagement, clean crawl patterns).

Standard ad networks will be mediocre until you have Google traffic. A lot of people in similar setups push premium affiliate offers (cams, dating, VPN, etc.) harder on the Yandex/Turkish traffic while waiting for Google to wake up.
Doubling down on Yandex short-term makes sense if the numbers are already there. You can always expand English SEO in parallel without killing the current momentum.

Thanks! Right now we’re focusing almost entirely on SEO.

Most of our time goes into creating high-quality SEO content for category pages and improving the overall site structure. We’ve also come up with two additional ideas that we believe will help us compete with the larger tube sites for organic traffic. One of them has already shown promising results in Yandex, so that’s encouraging.

At the moment, we’ve connected three different ad networks to every site and we’re testing which combinations perform best.

As for backlinks, that’s the next major step. I’ve already set aside a dedicated budget and plan to start an aggressive link-building campaign around October. Right now, most backlink exchange opportunities aren’t really worth pursuing. Sites with low DR and limited traffic usually aren’t attractive exchange partners, and from my perspective those links wouldn’t provide much value anyway. I’d rather invest in fewer, higher-quality links once the sites have gained more authority and organic traction.

That makes sense. If the link budget starts in October, I would use the time before that to build a few proof pages: best niche pages, cleaner thumb/title patterns, stronger internal links, and one or two affiliate conversion tests per geo.

Then the good links point to pages that already show user behavior and some money signal, not just pages that need trust.

That’s exactly what we’re doing right now.

Our main focus at the moment is improving every page so Google has as many quality signals as possible. We’re continuously refining our SEO content, improving page structure, cleaning up titles and thumbnails, strengthening internal linking, and optimizing the overall site architecture.

The goal is to make sure that by the time we start investing heavily in backlinks, those links are pointing to pages that are already well-optimized and provide a great user experience, rather than trying to use backlinks to compensate for weak pages. I believe that’s a much more sustainable long-term strategy.

I run dining review sites, home services, and dating in 30 large metros. I link to a lot of outside business, I started emailng all of them and telling them I mentioned or linked to their business, I get about a roughly 35% response rate with either a thank you, or they even link to it (hello backlink!) or they even offer to let me do a guest post or they ask to do one on my properties.
