But then, for still unexplained reasons, they suddenly stopped paying us & sending our checks, even though they owe us well over $1000 now. We've been trying to get a response from them all week long but heard nothing and even Yuval, who we reached briefly on Teams a few days ago (and who said he would get back to us by the end of the day), has gone silent.

Upon looking in our Cambuilder account, it was suddenly telling us that we needed to be "approved" for checks, even though we had been getting them for over 15 years running, so we had to re-do that section, and apparently now we have been "re-approved" somehow, but still no sign of any payments being sent and certainly no responses from anyone over there at all.

Did this happen to anyone else in here? Just wondering.

Seems very odd that they would just out-of-nowhere decide we needed to be "approved" for something for which we had already been approved for a decade & a half.

The good. The bad. The funny. The vulgar. The brilliant. The ridiculous. And plenty of things that were simply disappointing.

I’m not here pretending to be some industry legend. I’m just someone who has been around for a long time, got some things right, got plenty wrong, made mistakes, made memories, and learned a lot along the way.

I started as an affiliate myself in the warez scene, long before I ever imagined where it would lead. Eventually, I slipped into the adult industry.

From there, things escalated rather nicely. Or terribly. It all depends on who you ask.

I’ve always loved affiliates because you make companies fly or die. You send the traffic, take the risks, build the audience, and often know exactly what is happening on the ground while the people upstairs are looking at spreadsheets.

So I’ve always been curious about both sides of the click.

What actually happens after you send that traffic?

Well, after all these years, I’m finally in the mood to talk about it.

Not everything I’ve seen makes me proud. Some of it is amusing. Some of it is embarrassing. Some of it is downright ugly. I’ve met people who made me feel like a king and others who made me wonder why I hadn’t chosen a quieter career, like bomb disposal.

I’ve also made my own share of stupid decisions. I’m not standing here as the person who had all the answers. I was a hustler who somehow became a professional, and I learned most things by doing them, screwing them up, and occasionally getting them right.

And yes, I know what will happen once this thread gets going.

People will screenshot it.
People will forward it.
People will send it to people I worked for.

The idea of someone sitting in an old office reading my words and wondering what I might say next doesn’t frighten me.

It evokes me one very simple emotion:
