What don't you understand?
Some after market systems are louder than stock?
Altering or removing the stock baffle increases noise?
Some of us don't trailer our bikes to events or putt in traffic all day. Or live in helmet law states. When riding hour after hour who wants to listen to loud deafening exhaust.
Then again I never owned a scooter with a CD player .....
That being said .... just ride safe ok?

My 86 has 177K+ miles on it. I have ridden from LA to Daytona and back, LA to Sturgis and back, LA to Bahia de Los Angeles and back, LA to the Oregon border and back all numerous times.
I only wear a helmet in helmet law states and successfully beat a ticket for not wearing a helmet in CA when the law first came out.
I have been riding Harleys since 1971, so I think it is safe to say I have significantly more miles with no helmet than with, and I only have 50 miles on a bike with a CD player.
I love the sound of my roaring pipes, whether on my 42 flathead, 49 stroker panhead, 68 shovel, or 86 Evo.
My helmet does not cover my ears, and I can ride all day, every day, and have done so many times.
