or he could use a big knife....if someone wants to kill or rob you not having a gun will not stop this.
the robber not being sure if the dood hes about to rob has a big gun in his pocket...now that would stop me.
Im sure losing his life is a lot worse to a crazed heroin junkie than 3 hot meals a day
