terrorists have been onto it for years , shit even osama worked out that his calls weren't safe
back in 98 he had a sat phone he planned a few attacks but ameroca stopped it before they could happen, so he knew straight off that his calls were listened to, so all he did was gave the phone to someone else and sent them on a journey
terrorist also the net , stenography , using a simple email system like hotmail/gmail as a drop box , all they do is type up a message safe it as a draft , the person they want to communicate with logs in gets the message
then there is things like pgp or in voice the use of giving things other names
to protect your own privacy , never use a cordless phone , your next door neighbour could be listening via a scanner
