Take it as a compliment that someone at least read your article and felt it worthwhile to use - but - take it up with the rep personally if it is upsetting you that much and have them recant or write another article with you in the spotlight - that seems to be the more professional way of handling it.
It would be different if:

1. I didn't personally know the guy (if he asked I would have said use the whole damn thing) and have spent time with him VERY recently.

2. He at least didn't pretend it was an original, fixed the typos and didn't substitue my programs for those he resp as the ONLY change- it was a goddamn cut and paste for chrissake !!

3. He wasn't a program rep - nice for the trust levels ain't it !!!

4. He wasn't stupid enough to take it from one board where it is VERY well known to another.

Professional ?

Scammers and con's exist in this business because they have been allowed to. I cut off the snakes head because I can.
