funny enough it was my grandmohter that was killing all the chickens when I was a kid, when it came to lamb, it was my grandfather that did the killing
seeing headless chiken jumping around (in a very funny way) wasn't anything horrific, back then anynody that was living in a village had animals which sooner or later had to be slaughtered, cooked, and eaten
and if you have never tasted girlled pork from a pig that had been slaughtered
minutes ago, you have no idea what meat tastes like
