Well this one was the demo model at Best Buy.
I got a screaming deal on it because it was the last one of a discontinued line.
Maybe they had the settings changed to match whatever programming they play in the stores and I need to put the default settings back in.
I've got the 10lb dictionary size owners manual around here somewhere.
