2 topics I'm sure we can all relate to at some point in our lives. I have had many jobs where I was just "a body".. Generally in those type jobs when it came time for promotions managers would instead hire a friend for the position above you.
Being the hansome fella I am I can't relate to being judged against my looks
Unless I am going somewhere important I dress for comfort. That generally includes jeans, oversized jerseys/t-shirts and comfortable casual shoes. It amazes me how quick that is a recipe for being ignored by retail clerks. I can go into stores and watch the clerks run up to everyone around me, passing me in the process asking them if they can be of assistance. What's funny is how those same clerks are much nicer to you after they realize their associate that
did assist you just made a bigger commission than they did.
